Not Profane, the blond german pop singer unveiled his new single, „My Life Doesn’t Suck With You“ with a brand new, more grown-up sound. A mixture between Future Deep House and good vibes summer Pop the uptempo song makes you wanna dance right away. But the lyrics are actually pretty dark and serious. “I wrote this song in a very dark place in my life. I almost wanted to quit music. We all go through ups and downs in life, fight our inner demons. Sometimes everything just sucks. But if you watch closely, you see that you have many things you can be thankful for. I try to focus on the good things and people that are always there for me, like friends, family and especially Jesus. I trust that everything will work out at the end and Im really grateful for what I have”, says Not Profane. The Official Music video is coming soon. Not Profane already gained several millions views with his music videos on Youtube/Spotify and found support on MTV, Viva and Mc Donald’s Germany.
Der Dritte Raum – short D3R aka Andreas Krüger & Ralf Uhrlandt are possibly one of the most innovative liveacts Germany’s techno scene has brought forward since the early Nineties, the formative years when Frankfurt trance was growing into a national movement that would change the course of dance music in Germany forever and inspired countless individuals with its take on electronics. With two album releases on the incredibly influential Frankfurt Harthouse imprint, which was partly run by pioneer DJ Sven Väth, Techno Germany’s undisputed father figure who still spearheads the scene, and three album releases on Virgin, there is hardly any live act and producer duo as successful and innovative as D3R. Merging techno, trance, electro and house all into one to create their own distinctive sounds that has generations of ravers on their knees begging for more, it’s time to send them into frenzy again with another burner on the resurrected Harthouse imprint which lost nothing of its impact.

The Berlin-based duo NAOMI is back with its sixth album Swim. The creative pause has generated space for fresh ideas and the record sounds calmer, more reduced and more optimistic while maintaining a melancholy note. Electro, alternative pop – Nico Tobias and Bernd Lechler don’t care much for genre definitions. Their focus is on great melodies, from the casual and mysterious opener Almost Talking via the almost sacral Melt The Key, the vocoder road movie Life Or Death or the nicely cheerful Get Up, Get Out Into The Rain to the final synthesizer riffs of the title track. You can excellently let yourself sink into these eleven songs, or, as required, laugh, cry, dance and spill beer, or just waste the day.
The Süddeutsche Zeitung wrote about Naomi’s last album The Big Shapes (2010) that the band, “in a fair world, would have to scramble with Lady Gaga for the top positions in the summer charts”; and also Rolling Stone and FAZ are already convinced. With its elegant and mature sound, Swim is a true enrichment for Germany’s pop landscape.
